Join Busch Gardens Tampa for Christmas Town
Busch Gardens Tampa is bringing the spirit of Christmas to its
safari-themed park this holiday season.
Busch Gardens will transform into a nighttime holiday wonderland,
complete with seasonal sights, sounds and delicious holiday treats. Christmas
Town is scheduled for every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, Nov. 30-Dec.
23.
The Christmas Town event will begin in Celebration Village
(the park’s Moroccan Village).
Ornaments, glowing lights, local choirs and shops filled with holiday
gifts delight park goers. An all-new Christmas
Town ice show will be featured during the event, as will a Jungle Jubilee at
the Cheetah Hunt walkway and the Carol of the Bells light show. Highlighted by tens of thousands of Christmas
lights set in motion to a choreographed presentation of seasonal songs, Carol
of the Bells is a true holiday spectacular.
Other Christmas Town stops include Candy Cane Lane in
Nairobi which includes Christmas Town Express and Santa’s House, where guests
can take pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Jimmy Osmond’s Christmas Jukebox will be performed in Stanleyville,
during which Osmond and his family sing favorite Christmas tunes. A holy nativity and illuminated angles can also
be found in Stanleyville. To see a
little bit of the holidays Florida-style, head to the Enchanted Flamingo
way. There you’ll find decorated palm
trees and pink lights. At Christmas Town
Park, guests will be able to enjoy real snowdrifts in the Show Wonderland snow
play area, snap shots with strolling snowmen and enjoy an end-of-the-night
concert by Jars of Clay.
Of course there are things for the little tykes to do
too. Sesame Street’s Season of Fun will give
families the changes to meet and greet Elmo and his friends in the Christmas
attire. Picture will be taken so bring a
smile! Jingle Bell Junction in Gwazi
Plaza is operating rides especially for younger guests as well.
Christmas Town Village will be the place to pick up a unique
holiday gift or indulge in a sweet holiday treat. Gingerbread cookies, egg nog, roasted nuts,
hot chocolate and other seasonal items will be available.
Christmas Town is not included in the price of Busch Gardens tickets. It requires a separate
admission for a cost of $29.99 for adults and $9.99 for children ages 3-9.
